Thanks for visiting the Online home of The Kite Guy.
The name's Jake. I am an independent Kite Show Operator and long-time Kite enthusiast—mostly flying in Southeast Wisconsin.
How did I get to be The Kite Guy?
The name kind of stuck after procuring my first show kite in 2020. Since then I have been amassing an amazing collection of kites which I enjoy showcasing on perfectly windy days—whether it be in local parks, open event spaces or from my own backyard. (Ask me about the sea life theme I seem to have...)
I am also dabbling in the art of kite creation as I have tried my hand at stitching together build-your-own kits, assembling my own kite trains, and learning the finer points of kite repair.
